Dentures Near Upwey: Gentle, Personalised Denture Care to Support Your Everyday Comfort
Every smile has its own story, and changes to your teeth can affect how your mouth feels and functions. Dentures are one of the many treatment options available to help restore everyday comfort. At Parkridge Dental, we offer dentures near Upwey and work closely with you to create a solution that suits your lifestyle and oral health needs.
So, what exactly are dentures?
Dentures are custom-made appliances that replace missing teeth, and they’re designed to help you feel more comfortable in your day-to-day life. Think of them as a personalised set of teeth that fit securely over your gums or around your existing teeth, depending on what you need.
They’re made from materials that look similar to natural teeth and gums, so they blend in with your smile.
There are different types of dentures such as full (for replacing all teeth in an arch) or partial (for replacing only a few missing teeth). Your dentist will assess your oral health, the condition of your gums, and your daily habits to determine which option is appropriate for you.
Dentures may help:
- Support your ability to speak and chew
- Provide structure for facial muscles
- Replace missing teeth in an affordable way
- Support day-to-day oral function
Your dentist will explain what dentures can and cannot achieve, based on your individual circumstances.

Donna King1. August, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’ve just finished my veneers journey with Dr Shabnam Amini and this has been the best experience, she was so helpful in every way possible talking me through every detail in the process I even got a call the next day to see how I was. I am so happy with the outcome I can now smile with confidence, Shadnam I thank you from the bottom of my heart I cannot express how happy you have made me, everyone at her Dental practice has been amazing Suzanne Favero9. November, 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’ve been attending Parkridge Dental for many years now and have always found their work to be of the highest standard. Recently, I’ve seen Dr Amiri for a couple of different dental procedures, in which she provided a calm and slower-paced environment for a patient not used to having to get more than a check up and clean up for many years. Additionally, Dr Amiri also provides Botox procedures to assist with clenching and grinding issues. After having seen a nurse at a cosmetic business, who after 3 visits. did little to nothing, to ease by TMJ, Dr Amiri has been able to assist with the pain and associated issues surrounding my jaw by finally providing an appropriate dosage and placement of the Botox. It is clear she has a deeper understanding of Botox and the jaw area and how to ease chronic pain and genuinely listens to her patients. I can’t recommend her enough for this issue, and I will continue to see her for all of my dental and TMJ needs. Thank you for finally providing me with relief after 2 years of suffering. I believe you possess both. I felt it necessary to thank you for your efforts. The fact that I can smile with complete confidence today and enjoy my meals is thanks to your excellent work. Wishing you success and honor. Ivy Gerassimou4. September, 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The staff are all really lovely and welcoming. I’m pretty anxious about going to the dentist and Dr Shabnam Amiri did a fantastic job at fixing my chipped tooth, she was kind and encouraging. She allowed me to stop at any moment I needed. I didn’t catch the dental hygienists name but she was also wonderful, she gave me a stress ball at the beginning of the appointment to use. It helped immensely to keep me calm.
